Thoughts On A Monday

We're back after a week absent. I was busy moving my life, SO here's some thoughts...

*Game Of Thrones premiered it's Second Season last night and *whew* what a way to start it off! If you have not watched Season One, read Book One, OR you've yet to view last nights episode BEWARE OF SPOILERS! The premiere of the first season ended with incestuous intercourse AND a grown man (participating in said bro on sis intercourse) pushing a child out of a castle window to the ground waayyy down below. How do you top that?? You kill EM-EFFIN' babies! Something tells me we are in for quite the second season!

*Read how Game Of Thrones provides us with the mystery we've missed since LOST left us

*David Slade, director of the awesome Hard Candy (and the not so awesome Twilight: Eclipse) is set to helm thew pilot for NBC's Hannibal Lector TV-Series (Hannibal) . Slade also directed the premiere episode of NBC's Awake.

*Like Easter, but not into the Biblical aspect? Check out AV Club's 27 Easter-based entertainment choices.

*We've seen the Hunger Games (along with millions of other folks). We've also read the books, and we're really surprised at how people are reacting to Rue and Thresh being Black. Check it out.

*Mad Men also aired it's second episode of the new season last night. Don Draper and Betty (Draper) Francis have got to be two of the most complicated characters in the history of television. SPOILER ALERT This season is really cranking out the memorable moments. The season premier gave us Megan Draper's (Jessica Pare) song and dance number, which is unforgettable. Just try getting that song out of your head! This week we have Don and Harry traveling to meet the Rolling Stones AND...wait for it...FAT BETTY DRAPER!

*Apparently, Buffy Summers is getting an abortion.

*Here's the trailer for the Total Recall remake. It's not on Mars. Bummer.

*Finally, check out this article on a terminally-ill Doctor Who who needs your help securing a TARDIS urn
