I wanted to post this 30 minutes ago, but I couldn't do it. I had to watch it a couple of times, wait for my heart rate to slow to a normal pace, take a drink of water, and take a deep breath. The second trailer for Marvel's The Avengers is here and...hold on, I need to calm down again.
*Deep Breath*
It's good. Real good. Watch it below (courtesy of JoBlo) or watch it (in higher quality) at Apple.
Whew! I mean, has Joss really done it? Will we see the Earth's Mightiest Heroes in a legit action flick? It looks as though we will, my friends. It looks as though we will.
Please, discuss in the comments below!

Thoughts On A Monday: FUCK YOU, MONDAY and Oscar Edition
*Due to a tree branch falling on my FUCKING car, I was unable to catch the Walking Dead, but I did get to watch the Oscars!!! Woot!*
*The Artist was a big winner last night. It took home Best Picture, while it's director (Michael Hazanavicius)
and lead actor (Jean Dujardin) took home the Best Director and Best Actor awards. Hugo also picked up 5 awards. Meryl Streep won her 3rd Best Actress (out of 18 total nominations) for The Iron Lady. Her speech was classic Streep. You can check out all the special Oscar moments here. My mind was blown when I found out that Community's own, Dean Pelton (Jim Rash, IRL) won an Oscar for his part in penning the screenplay for the Descendants. He even mocked Angelina.
*The Little Golden Dudes have been handed out, but how about those films that got snubbed? My pick for biggest snub goes to 50/50 and it's stars, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anna Kendrick.

NOSTALGIA ALERT: American Reunion Theatrical Trailer
American Pie was released in the summer of 1999. It was a great time in my life. I had just graduated high school and was working at a movie theatre. I joined my co-workers to view the film the night before it was set to release. I ended up seeing it 3 times in 24 hours. It will always ignite a feeling of nostalgia inside.
It's 13 years later, and here we are. Some of us are 30 years old and probably in a very different place than we thought we would be. You'll see that the gang from East Great Falls is right there with 'us', just as they were when we were all jacked-up on hormones in high school.
Must say, I'm pretty excited to see this. I've just went ahead and blocked the sequels and direct-to-video rubbish.

Thoughts On A Monday: NEW BLOG EDITION
Check. It. Out. You can now find me at notsodaily.com!!! You'll be seeing more and more improvements in the coming months. I'm trying to write more, gain a bigger audience, and (eventually) take over the world. The blog is even viewable in Mobile format! w00t! The '(Not So) Daily' name is due to the fact that I'm not a very consistent blogger, but a blogger nonetheless.
*How about The Walking Dead last night? I'm still in love with the show, but the pacing and character development is irking the SHIT out of me! Here is your...SPOILER ALERT

George Lucas Has Your $. Therefore, He No Longer Cares
Dear George Lucas,
First of all, let me just say thank you. In making the (Original) Star Wars films, having a hand in the Indiana Jones (Trilogy), and creating Willow you've had a profound impact on my life. You helped expand the farthest reaches of my imagination. For that I am forever grateful to you, sir. Recently you have released Red Tails, a story about the legendary Tuskegee Airmen. I have not seen the film and, to be honest, I won't. Ever.

*There was no 'Thoughts On A Monday' because I was grieving.

Selling False Hope (I'm looking at you, Eastwood)
The Super Bowl went down last night. Since the Raven's weren't participating (they would have beat the Giants BTW), my investment in the game was next to nil. However, there's always the commercials. Advertising is horrendous these days. It becomes so saturated, and repetitive . There's always animals. American's fucking love animals in advertising. There's always ladies in bikini's. There's the Budweiser Clydesdale horses. GoDaddy has the perennial sleaze ad with Danica Patrick and promised online nudity. There's that E*Trade baby, who has been known to make me laugh. AND there's plenty of car commercials.
Thoughts On A Monday...
*Well the Super Bowl happened. Giants Win. Eli beats Brady again and little brothers everywhere rejoice.
*The advertising was blah. Near yawn-worthy, except for the movie trailers...
